DoubleClick Search: Landing page testing with DoubleClick SearchEver been curious which landing page gets you the best results? Does directing traffic to the product details page or promotional video get you the most conversions? Want an easy way to test landing pages without altering your keywords or ads? DoubleClick Search (DS) now gives you the ability to run landing page tests to compare different landing pages for your ads. With this feature, you can split traffic between several landing pages and then compare the results to help choose the landing page that delivers the best results.

With landing page testing, you can:



  • Split your search ad traffic among multiple landing pages.
  • Run landing page tests at the keyword and/or ad group level.
  • Perform custom traffic splits. For example, you could split traffic between three landing pages: 20% to one, 30% to another, and 50% to a third.
  • See a history of all tests that have been completed.

This feature now gives you another tool to optimize your accounts and then provides detailed reports to help you gauge impact. After making changes to keyword-level landing pages based on these insights, you can use DS reports to calculate the exact impact your landing page optimizations have made, even months after the tests have been run.

You can then view the results in the Landing page tests section of your account.
